Description: Basic Operations. This course gives a view of a trade show from the inside and from the perspective of the management team. Topics covered include types of shows & pre-show planning meetings, venue floor plans, permits, signs, graphics, furnishings and labor services provided by promoters and contractors. The responsibilities of the trade show worker such as job function, proper conduct and required tools will also be discussed. Floor Layout. This course studies trade show floor plan symbol interpretation, venue layout and the different types of exhibit booths found on the show floor in the classroom and lab demonstrations.
